titleOfInvention | Galvanizing solution |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a galvanizing soln. usable for a long time by adding a specified amount each of hydrochloric acid and sodium acetate to a galvanizing soln. contg. specified amounts of ZnSO 4 .7H 2 O, Na 2 SO 4 , H 3 BO 3 and Al 2 (SO 4 ) 3 .18 H 2 O. n CONSTITUTION: 1n hydrochloric acid and 1M sodium acetate are added as buffers by 45W55ml/l each to a standard galvanizing soln. contg. 590W710g/l ZnSO 4 .7H 2 O, 3W7g/l Na 2 SO 4 , 1W3g/l H 3 BO 3 and 18W22g/l Al 2 (SO 4 ) 3 .18H 2 O. The resulting galvanizing soln. can be kept at about 2.0W2.5pH during use for about 3W4 weeks, and galvanization giving a smooth and dense film can be carried out for a long time without causing the precipitation of Al(OH) 3 . n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
