titleOfInvention | Adhesive composition for rubber and fiber |
abstract | PURPOSE: The titled composition having heat-resistant bond strength for reinforcing polyester yarn, etc. in tire, etc., comprising a resorcinol-formaldehyde resin and specific conjugated diene-vinylpyridine copolymer rubber latex. n CONSTITUTION: (A) A resorcinol-formaldehyde resin is blended with (B) conjugated diene-vinylpyridine copolymer rubber latex obtained by copolymerizing (i) 0.1W25wt%, preferably 0.5W8wt% ethylenic unsaturated acid monomer (e.g., methacrylic acid, etc.) with (ii) preferably 60W75wt% conjugated diene monomer (e.g., 1,3-butadiene, etc.), (iii) preferably 15W30wt% vinylpyridine (preferably 2- vinylpyridine), and, if necessary, (iv) preferably ≤30wt% another monomer such as styrene, etc., to give the aimed composition. The amount of the component A is preferably 10W40pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. solid material of the component B. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
