abstract NEW MATERIAL:The crystalline anhydrate, hemihydrate, monohydrate or trihydrate of cephalosporin derivative comprising (6R,7R)-7-[(Z)-2-(2- aminothiazol-4-yl)-2- methoxyiminoacetamido]-3-(1-quinuclidiniummethyl)-3-ceph em-4-carboxylate or (6R,7R)-7-[(Z)-2-(5-amino-1-thia-2,4-diazol-3-yl)-2-methoxy- iminoacetamido]-3-(1-quinuclidiniummethyl)-3-cephem-4- carboxylate. n USE: An antibacterial agent having excellent stability. n PREPARATION: For example, the amorphous compound of formula I or formula II is dissolved in an aqueous organic solvent (e.g. a mixture of water and ethanol), and the solution is added with an organic solvent such as acetone, methanol, etc., or is cooled to precipitate the trihydrate of the compound of formula I or formula II, which, if necessary, is subjected to drying. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
