titleOfInvention Octacosanol-containing aqueous composition
abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition useful for obtaining effectively kinetic energy, increasing physical strength, recovering fatigue, etc., obtained by emulsifying or solubilizing octacosanol in the presence of a polyglycerin fatty acid ester. n CONSTITUTION: In the presence of 0.5W30wt% polyglycerin fatty acid ester, ≤40wt% octacosanol is emulsified or solubilized to give the aimed composition. Although ocatcosanol as a physiologically active substance to improve stamina and persistence, it has an extremely high melting point and slightly soluble in almost all substances, so it was difficult to get a stable emulsion or a solubilized substance. An aqueous composition having high emulsion stability and solubilization stability can be produced even under an acidic condition by the above-mentioned treatment. A polyglycerin having acid ester having ≥6 average polymerization degree is preferable as the polyglycerin fatty acid and a decaglycerin monolauric ester, etc., are used as the polyglycerin fatty acid ester. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
