titleOfInvention Anti-vibration structure of outboard motor
abstract PURPOSE: To reliably suppress the occurrence of resonance of a casing by arranging vibration damping members between the inside face of the casing and the outside face of an exhaust expansion case and feeding the engine cooling water along surfaces of the vibration damping members. n CONSTITUTION: Damper rubbers 31, 40, 41 are arranged at three positions in the vertical direction between the right and left inside faces 16A of a casing 16 and the right and left outside faces of an exhaust housing 20. The damper rubbers 39, 40 are arranged on the outside face 32A of an exhaust expansion case 32. The damper rubber 41 is arranged on the outside face 31A on the lowest side of an exhaust pipe 31. Drain ports 43, 44 are opened on the right and left outsides of the exhaust housing 20, and the engine cooling water flows out through the drain ports 43, 44. The discharged water flowing out through the drain port 43 is fed along surfaces of the exhaust expansion case 32 and damper rubbers 39, 40. The discharged water flowing out through the drain port 44 is fed along surfaces of the exhaust pipe 31 and damper rubber 41. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
