abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition which can recover the thixotropic properties rapidly even if high shear force is applied before use, and comprises a polyurethane prepolymer, a colloidal silica, and a specified polysiloxane-polyoxyalkylene polymer. n CONSTITUTION: Into 100pts.wt. polyurethane prepolymer (A) in the form of liquid or solution having an average molecular weight of 500W20,000 are incorporated 0.5W50pts.wt. colloidal silica (B) and 0.1W50pts.wt., based on 100pts.wt. component B, polysiloxane-polyoxyalkylene polymer (C) of formula I [where R 1W4 each are methyl or phenyl; m is 0W70; one of X and Z is a polyoxyalkylene-containing group of formula II (where n is 1W4; a is 0W50; b is 10W100; R 5 is H, an alkyl of 1W8C or an alkylcarbonyl of 1W18C; when a is 1 or greater, C 3 H 6 O groups and C 2 H 4 O groups may be linked with each other in any order) and another is methyl, phenyl or a group of formula II; Y 1 and Y 2 each are methyl, phenyl or a group of formula II and may be different in each repeating unit when m is 2 or greater]. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
