titleOfInvention | Dispersion stabilizer for coal-water slurry |
abstract | PURPOSE: To enhance flowability and standing stability at coal concn. of 70wt% or more, by preparing a dispersion stabilizer for a coal-water slurry by compounding a specific block copolymer as a useful component. n CONSTITUTION: A block compolymer represented by formula I [wherein P 1 is a hydrophobic polymer, P 2 is a structural unit selected from groups represented by formulae II, III, IV (wherein R 1 is H or an 1W6C hydrocarbon group, R 2 is H or an 1W10C hydrocarbon group, R 3 is H or CH 3 , R 4 is H, CH 3 , CH 2 COOH or CN, X is H, COOH or CONH 2 and Y is COOH or SO 3 H) and the polymerization degree of a polymer is 10W3,500 and n is 1 or 2] is used as a dispersion stabilizer for a coal-water slurry. The addition amount of this dispersion stabilizer is usually 0.01W5.0%, pref. 0.05W2% by wt. of coal in the slurry. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
