titleOfInvention | Dispersion stabilizer for coal-water slurry |
abstract | PURPOSE: To enhance flowability and standing stability at coal concn. of 70wt% or more, by preparing a dispersion stabilizer for a coal-water slurry by compounding a polymer comprising a structural unit such as vinyl alcohol, vinyl acetate or acrylic acid as a useful component. n CONSTITUTION: A polymer represented by formula I [wherein R represents a 3W70C hydrocarbon group, P is one of groups represented by formulae II, III, IV (wherein R 1 is H or an 1W6C hydrocarbon group, R 2 is H or an 1W10C hydrocarbon, R 3 is H or CH 3 , R 4 is H, CH 3 , CH 2 COOH or CN, X is H, COOH or CONH 2 , Y is COOH, SO 3 H, OSO 3 H CH 2 SO 3 H, CONHC(CH 3 ) 2 or CH 2 CO 3 H and the polymerization degree of a polymer is 10W3,500) and n is 1W2] is used as a dispersion stabilizer for a coal-water slurry. This dispersion stabilizer is added in an amount of 0.01W5.0% by wt. of coal in a slurry. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
