abstract | PURPOSE:A cosmetic, containing soluble collagen and a derivative thereof and lecithin in combination, having improved humectant properties and feeling of use without stickiness with little change in viscosity or hardness with time. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic containing one or two or more of soluble collagens, e.g. obtained by hydrolyzing collagen which is one of hard proteins constituting principal components of connective tissues of bones, cartilages, sinews, fish scale, etc., and preferably prepared by hydrolyzing the collagen with an acid, alkali or enzyme, and a derivative thereof and one or more of lecithins, e.g. lecithin extracted from egg yolk and soybeans. The amount of the collagens is 0.01-2wt%, particularly 0.02-1.5wt% based on the total amount of the cosmetic and the amount of the lecithins is 0.01-5wt%, preferably 0.05-3wt% based on the total amount of the cosmetic. EFFECT:Good stability and safety. |
