| abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain the titled agent by using an extracted liquid of TORORO- AOI (Hibiscus manihot) as a principal component, adding a mixture of salicylic acid and glycerol to the extract, mixing with an aqueous solution of citric acid to form a pasty composition, adding the composition to a dissolved past of fatty acid potassium carbonate salt and adding lanolin to the product. CONSTITUTION:A pasty ointment is produced by using an extracted liquid of TORORO-AOI as a principal component, adding a mixture of salicylic acid and glycerol to the principal component, mixing with an aqueous solution of citric acid to form a pasty composition, adding the composition to a dissolved paste of fatty acid potassium carbonate salt obtained by mixing stearic acid, higher aliphatic alcohol, glycerol and an aqueous solution of potassium carbonate, and adding lanolin to the product. It has been known that the extract of TORORO-AOI has high permeability by capillary phenomena and the viscosity is proportional to the kneading time. There is no lowering of viscosity by the present procedure, and the obtained ointment can be absorbed rapidly through the skin to mitigate the pain of the shoulder discomfort and bruise, etc. |
