titleOfInvention Compound for casting mold material
abstract PURPOSE: To improve remarkably the collapsing property of a casting mold by using a granular porous ceramic material or a mixture composed of said material and molding sand for the refractory granular material of a compd. for a casting mold material consisting essentially of the refractory granular material and org. binder. n CONSTITUTION: The granular porous ceramic material formed by pelletizing pulverous powder particles and sintering the same may be used independently or the mixture composed of the granular porous ceramic material and molding sand may be used for the refractory granular material of the compd. for the casting mold material consisting essentially of the refractory granular material and org. binder having a curing property. The granular porous ceramic material which is obtd. by pelletizing the pulverous powder particles consisting essentially of aluminum oxide or magnesium oxide and sintering the pellets and has 10W40% porosity is preferable as the above-mentioned granular material. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
