abstract PURPOSE: The titled pharmaceutical preparation having improved irritation to the skin and percutaneous absorption, comprising a pressure-sensitive adhesive consisting of vinyl monomers in a specific ratio, IPM or IPL of percutaneous promotor, and propranolol or pindolol of β-blocking agent, and a tape substrate. n CONSTITUTION: The titled preparation comprising (A) a tape substrate (PE, PP, etc.), (B) a pressure-sensitive adhesive consisting of (i) 40W99wt% 4W12C alkyl- containing alkyl (meth)acrylate, (ii) 1W50wt% at least one vinyl monomer selected from 1W3C alkyl-containing alkyl (meth)acrylate, vinyl acetate, and styrene, and (iii) 0W10wt% unsaturated carboxylic acid (e.g., acrylic acid, etc.), (C) isopropyl myristate (IPM), or isopropyl laurate (IPL), and (D) propranolol.
