titleOfInvention | Adhesive composition for laminated cloth |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the titled adhesive compsn. which is excellent in adhesion and can provide a laminated cloth having an excellent washing resistance, by incorporating an aliphatic and/or aromatic dicarboxylic acid (or its cyclic anhydride) in a saponification product of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. n CONSTITUTION: Ethylene is copolymerized with vinyl acetate, e.g., under a pressure of about 50W4,000kg/cm 2 at about 40W300°C in the present of a catalyst to prepare an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate unit content of 20W50wt% and a melt index of 20W500g/20min. At least 90% of the vinyl acetate unit of the copolymer is saponified. 100pts.wt. saponification product is incorporated with 0.2W10pts.wt. at least one aliphatic and/or aromatic dicarboxylic acid (or its cyclic anhydride) (e.g.: maleic anhydride or succinic anhydride) to obtain an intended adhesive compsn. for laminated cloth. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
