PURPOSE: A polyfunctional highly branched polyester ether copolymer which can give a cured product excellent in mechanical strength and chemical properties, obtained by copolymerizing ε-caprolactone with glycidol in the presence of, optionally, an initiator. n CONSTITUTION: The purpose polyfunctional highly branched polyester ether copolymer is obtained by copolymerizing ε-caprolactone with glycidol in the presence of, optionally, an initiator (e.g., ethylamine or propylene glycol). This copolymer is useful as an oleophilic surfactant or the like. By further adding a curing agent (e.g., glycidyl acrylate or diallyl phthalate) to this copolymer, curable composition which can give a cured product excellent in impact resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, etc., can be obtained. The obtained curable composition can be suitably used for paints, adhesives, moldings, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
