titleOfInvention Triterpene alcohol organic acid ester and production thereof
abstract NEW MATERIAL:An α-1W4C alkyl cinnamate having one or two substituent groups of triterpene alcohol on the benzene nucleus, or a benzoic acid ester or cinnamic acid ester having two substituent groups comprising 1W4C alkoxy group and nitro group, amino group, acylamino group, etc., on the benzene nucleus. n EXAMPLE: Cycloartenol-3-methoxy-4-propionyloxy-α-methyl cinnamate. n USE: Antihyperlipemia. n PREPARATION: The objective triterpene alcohol organic acid ester can be produced e.g. by reacting (A) triterpene alcohol with (B) acid halogenide of (i) an α-1W4C alkylcinnamic acid having one or two substituent groups on the benzene nucleus or (ii) a benzoic acid or cinnamic acid having two substituent groups comprising 1W4C alkoxy group and nitro group, amino group, or acylamino group, etc., on the benzene nucleus. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
