titleOfInvention | Production of paint capable of directly applying to hygroscopic structural material and said paint |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the titled paint which has excellent adhesion and causes neither peeling, nor discoloration nor fading, by mixing lanolin fat with zinc naphthenate with heating and dissolving the mixture in xylene and a co-solvent. n CONSTITUTION: 2pts.wt. lanolin fat of the formula is mixed with 1pt.wt. Zinc naphthenate at 120W150°C to effect a polymn. reaction, thus obtaining a solute. 20% priming soln. and 5% methyl isobutyl ketone as a co-solvent are added to 75% synthetic resin paint composed of a soln. obtd. by mixing 40W30% said solute wit 60W70% xylene soln. The mixture is mixed with high-speed stirring to obtain a paint capable of directly applying to hygroscopic structural materials. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
