abstract |
PURPOSE: To obtains the titled element having an excellent display quality such as a contrast by applying an organic high polymer film having a β-dispersing temp. more than the curing temp. of a sealing material suitable for the sealing part of the titled element to an orientation control film. n CONSTITUTION: The polarizing plates 8 are provided on the outsides of each upper and lower electrodes 2 respectively. The electrodes 3 being the means of impressing an electric field are provided on the insides of each substrates respectively. The orientation control films 4 are coated on the electrodes 3 respectively. The orientation control film 4 are the organic high polymer film having the β-dispersing temp. more than the curing temp. of the sealing material suitable for the sealing part of the titled element. For example, the orientation control film 4 is composed of a polyimide (the β-dispersing temp. 260°C) obtd. by baking the polyamido acid varnish which is produced by condensating 3,3',4,4'-diphenyl tetracarboxylic acid anhydride and 2,5-diamino toluene. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
