NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I (R is H, or alkyl; X and Y are methyl, or methoxy; A is =N-, or =CH-) and its salt. n EXAMPLE: N-[( 4,6-Dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl )aminocarbonyl]-3-( 2-methyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-yl)-2-thiophenesulfonamide. n USE: A herbicide. Suitable for fruit gardens, mulberry fields, forests on mountains, etc. besides arable lands, by selecting properly soil treatment, or foliar treatment. n PREPARATION: A compound shown by the formula II is reacted with a copound shown by the formula III (R' is alkyl, or phenyl) optionally in the presence of a solvent (e.g., benzene, toluene, chloroform, acetone, etc.) to give a compound shown by the formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
