titleOfInvention Manufacture of screen for video projector
abstract PURPOSE: To contrive to improve the reliability and productivity of a screen by a method wherein ultraviolet-curable resin is poured and filled between the lens surface of a lenticular lens and a Fresnel lens mold and cured. n CONSTITUTION: A previously-made lenticular lens 22 is arranged to a Fresnel lens mold with a pattern of a Fresnel lens surface in such a manner as to face the lens surface of the lenticular lens against the lens surface of the Fresnel lens mold in order to pour and fill ultraviolet-curable resin between the lens surface of the lenticular lens and the Fresnel lens mold. The filled ultraviolet- curable resin 25 is irradiated with ultraviolet rays so as to be cured to form a Fresnel lens under the state of being joined with the lenticular lens in order to release a screen 26 consisting by integrating the lenticular lens with the Fresnel lens from the mold. In the manufacture of the titled screen, the transparent resin mold made of so-called engineering plastic, which has favorable release property and the visible light transmission within the range from 390mmW800mm at 85% or more, such as acrylic, polycarbonate plastic, polyethylene plastic or the like is employed as the Fresnel lens mold 20. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
