abstract | PURPOSE: To prevent a voltage drop of the titled element and to improve a frequency characteristic of the titled element by forming an imidized orientation film from a mixture obtd. by adding a prescribed amount of a polymer having a lower volume resistivity or a higher permittivity than that of a polyimide resin to a NMP solution or a DMF solution contg. a prescribed amount of a precursor of the polyimide resin. n CONSTITUTION: The imidized thin film is formed from the mixture obtd. by adding the prescribed amount of the polymer having the higher permittivity or the lower volume resistivity than that of the polyimide resin to the NMP solution N-methyl pyrroline of the precursor of the polyimide resin or the DMF solution of dimethylformamide. The obtd. thin film is used as the orientation film 4. The compounding amount of the added polymer is 10W50wt% on the weight basis of the prepolymer. The thickness of the orientation film 4 is 3,000W1,500Å. The orientation film 4 is formed on the glass substrate 1 which is formed a transparent electrode 3 of the liquid crystal panel thereon. The orientation films 4 are arranged so as to be face to face each other, and held a gap with spacers 2 to form the space.
