abstract | PURPOSE: To purify sewage, by coating the surface of crystalline limestone with a coating material prepared by mixing a size material with magnetite to form a purifying material which is, in turn, accepted in a cage to be arranged to a water flow channel. n CONSTITUTION: The surface of coarsely crushed crystalline limestone 1 is coated with a coating material 2 prepared by mixing a size material with magnetite or a magnetic powder and enhanced in close adhesiveness by a coating or spraying method to obtain a purifying material A which is, in turn, accepted in a cage 3 comprising a metal net to be arranged to a water flow channel 4.
