PURPOSE:To obtain a UV-absorbing dermatic agent for external use, resistant to discoloration and storable for a long period without causing deterioration, by compounding 4-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4'-methoxybenzoylmethane and a clay mineral with edetic acid, metaphosphoric acid, polyphosphoric acid, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective external agent for skin is obtained by compounding 4-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4'-methoxybenzoylmethane (the compound A), a clay mineral (e.g. bentonite) and 1/1,000-100pts.wt. (based on 1pt. of the compound A) of edetic acid, metaphosphoric acid, polyphosphoric acid and/or its salt (e.g. Na salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or Na salt of hexametaphosphoric acid). The external agent is a UV-absorption agent for external use storable stably for a long period without causing deterioration of the quality nor discoloration. The base for the external agent may be gel, paste, cream, etc. |
