titleOfInvention | Production of optical active glycerol derivative |
abstract | PURPOSE: To resolve optically an ester reacemic modification into an optical active alcohol and an optical active ester, to separate and to collect them, by treating the ester recemic modification with an enzyme derived from a microorganism having a stereoselective esterase activity of a specific enzyme derived from an animal organ. n CONSTITUTION: An ester racemic modification shown by the formula I (X is halogen; R is 1W8C aliphatic hydrocarbon; R' is aromatic hydrocarbon, or 1W2C aliphatic hydrocarbon) is treated with an enzyme derived from a micro organism or an enzyme derived from an animal organ, which has stereoselective esterase activity to hydrolyze asymmetrically the racemic modification shown by the formula I into an optically active alcohol shown by the formula II. The racemic modification shown by the formula I is subjected to optical resolution into the optically active alcohol shown by the formula II and an optically active ester shown by the formula III and each optically active glycerol derivative is separated and collected. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
