PURPOSE: To obtain the titled compsn. contg. a flame retarder uniformly dispersed therein, by blending a polyolefin resin and additives with a master batch obtd. by blending a large quantity of a flame retarder with polyolefin resin and kneading the mixture. n CONSTITUTION: 50W300pts.wt. at least one flame retarder selected from among red phosphorus, MoO, decabromodiphenyl ether and ethylenebistetrabromophthalimide is blended with 100pts.wt. polyolefin resin (e.g. ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer), and the mixture is kneaded in a melt- kneader to prepare a master batch contg. the flame retarder higher blended therewith.
