titleOfInvention | Modified amidodiol and production thereof |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the titled diol having excellent heat-resistance and flexibility, and suitable as a soft segment of a polymer, by reacting a polyamide-forming compound with a dicarboxylic acid and a glycol, and carrying out the ring- opening addition polymerization of a lactone to the product. n CONSTITUTION: The objective compound can be produced by (1) condensing (A) a polyamide-forming compound such as 6W12C aminocarboxylic acid (e.g. 6-aminocaproic acid), 6W12C lactam (e.g. caprolactam), a nylon salt composed of a 4W12C dicarboxylic acid and a 4W12C diamine (e.g. adipic acid- hexamethylenediamine salt) with (B) a 4W54C dicarboxylic acid (e.g. isophthalic acid) and (C) a 2W20C glycol (e.g. resorcinol) in the presence of a catalyst preferably at 100W280°C to obtain an amide diol, (2) adding (D) 5W97pts.wt. of a lactone to 95W3pts. of at least a part of the hydroxyl group of the amide diol and (3) reacting the components at 100W230°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
