titleOfInvention Oxygen enriching device
abstract PURPOSE: To enable reduction in selectively permeable membrane area and to obtain O 2 enriched air in a lightweight device economically, by returning partially O 2 lean air of O 2 enriching device, heated by a vacuum pump, through a specific masking plate make-and-break mechanism to an atmospheric flow. n CONSTITUTION: The air A is sucked from the air intake 1 by the fan 3, brought into contact with the cooling means 2, sent to the module 4 in which a great number of selectively O 2 permeable film elements are arranged, separate into O 2 enriched air and O 2 lean air, the O 2 lean air (broken line) is sent from the vacuum pump 5 through fan 3 to the passageway 22, divided into two in a ratio of the flow rate V 1 to be returned and the flow rate V 2 to be discharged out of the system of 0.2W0.7, and the flow rate V 2 is discharged from the heat exchanger 12 through the passageway 23 to the air exhaust vent 6, and discharged. On the other hand the flow rate V 1 to be returned is fed introduced into the masking plate make-and-break mechanism 26, the opening and closing of the mechanism is interlocked with the temperature sensor 27. When the sensor 27 is at ≥ a set temperature or ≤ it, the small-sized pulse motor 31 is electrically rotated, the masking plate 32 is automatically opened and closed through the position detectors 30a and 30b, so the flow rate to be returned is sent to the module 4 or feed is stopped. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
