titleOfInvention Saccharide digestion inhibitor and composition thereof
abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition is composed of a combination of an α- glucosidase inhibitor and a nonpathogenic lactic acid-producing microorganism. n CONSTITUTION: An appropriate combination of an α-glucosidase inhibitor such as variolamine derivative of the formula (A is hydroxyl, phenoxy, thienyl, furyl, pyridyl) such as N-phenethylvariolamine and a nonpathogenic lactic acid- producing bacterium such as Lactobacillus acidophilus L. Salivaius give the objective saccharide-digestion inhibitor. The dose of the α-glucosidase inhibitor is 0.05W500 mg/man/administration, preferably 1.0W50 mg/human/administration 2W4 portions everyday 1 hour before W 2 hours after meal. The dose of the lactic acid-producing bacterium is 10 13 W10 12 cells/human/administration, preferably 10 5 W10 10 cells/human/administration, 2W4 portions everyday 1 hour before W 2 hours after meal. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
