abstract | PURPOSE: A resin composition which has pearly gloss and excellent heat resistance, elasticity, etc., is suitable for brushes, etc., and is obtained by mixing a cellulose propionate resin and an acrylonitrile-styrene resin in a specified weight proportion and molding the mixture with heat. n CONSTITUTION: 10W80wt% cellulose propionate resin and 90W20wt% acrylonitrile-styrene resin are mixed. The obtained compound having pearly gloss is molded with heat to form, for example, a handle part 3, the base of a bristling part 4, etc. of a toothbrush.
