titleOfInvention Remedy for hepatopathies
abstract PURPOSE: A drug that contains, as an active ingredient, desialated orosomucoids, thus showing remedial action on hepatopathies such as chronic hepatitis or hepatocirrhosis. n CONSTITUTION: Sialic groups are completely or partially removed from orosomucoid, in general, more than 15% desialation degree, is used as an active ingredient to give the objective remedy for hepatopathies. The dose is several mg/kg W tens mg/kg and is given orally or parenterally. Orosomucoid is a glycoprotein in α 1 globulin, also called α 1 acidic glycoprotein with a spherical structure which includes one polypeptide chain containing 181 aminoacids and crosslinks with 2 S-S bonds to have β-structure. It has a molecular weight of 40,000W44,000 and is composed of 41.4% of saccharides, 14.7% of hexose, 13.9% of acetylhexosamine, 12.1% of sialic acid and 0.7% of fucose. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
