PURPOSE: To obtain the title catalyst component excellent in long-term storage stability, by suspending a specified catalyst component in an inert solvent. n CONSTITUTION: 5W100g of a catalyst component obtained by contacting a prod uct (A) obtained by contacting a Mg halide (e.g., MgF 2 ) with a titanium tetraalkoxide and/or its polymer with a polymeric silicon compound of the formula (wherein R 1 is a hydrocarbon residue) at -100W200°C for 10minW20hr with an electron doner (B) (e.g., ethyl acetate) and a liquid titanium halide (e.g., TiCl 4 ) and/or a silicon halide (e.g., SiCl 4 ) (C) in an amount corresponding to an atomic ratio in relation to the Mg compound of component A of 0.1W10 at -100W200°C is suspended in 1l of an inert solvent (e.g., CCl 4 ). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
