titleOfInvention | Method of separating chloroxylene isomers |
abstract | PURPOSE: To adsorb and to separate high-purity chloroxylene isomers, especially 2-chloro-m-xylene and/or 4-chloro-m-xylene from a chloroxylene isomer mixture, by using an adsorbent of faujasite type zeolite. n CONSTITUTION: In adsorbing and separating a chloroxylene mixture containing at least two chloroxylene isomers, nucleus chloroxylene isomers are brought into contact with faujasite type zeolite, a crystalline aluminosilicate shown by the formula (M is cation; n is its valence; X is 2.5±0.5 in X type, and X is 3W6 in Y type), and the chloroxylene isomers are adsorbed and separated through fractional chromatography, or adsorption and separation method by pseudo transfer bed. n USE: A novel raw material for agricultural chemicals and drugs. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
