| abstract | PURPOSE:Powder of Bupleurum balcatum L., aloe, sea tangle, and muscovado and dried powder of hair, rice bran, and green laver are blended with ground oystershells, half of the blend is immersed in black vinegar and half of the blend in an alcohol, they are brewed, extracted, and mixed. The mixture is blended with ammonia, and permeated into Japanese paper, which is applied to the affected part. CONSTITUTION:2pts.wt. Bupleurum balcatum L., 2pts.wt. aloe, and 2pts.wt. sea tangle are dried in the shade, dried, and ground to give powder, which is blended with 2pts.wt. muscovado (A), 10pts.wt. hair, 2pts.wt. rice bran, and 2pts.wt. green algae are steamed and baked in aluminum foil, and ground to give powder (B), and 1pt.wt. oystershells are covered with aluminum foil. baked, and ground to give oystershells powder, which is mixed with the same amounts of the components A and B. Half of the blend is immersed in twice as much as black vinegar and half to the blend in twice as much as alcohol with 35 deg., closed, and brewed for 2 months. Extracted solutions from both the brewed solutions are mixed, 5-6 drops of ammonia are added to the mixture, which is permeated to Japanese paper, which is applied to the affected part and the affected part is covered with a net, etc., before going to bed, and sleeping.
