abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled composition having improved oxidation stability and suitable as an antistatic agent, magnetic shielding material, etc., by compounding metallic powder coated with an amine compound to a thermoplastic resin containing an carboxyl-containing thermoplastic resin. n CONSTITUTION: Metallic powder [e.g. powder of iron (alloy)] coated with an amine compound (e.g. dicyclohexylamine) or a mixture of an amine compound and a silane coupling agent (e.g. γ- aminopropyltrimethoxysilane) is kneaded with a thermoplastic resin (preferably a mixture of a carboxyl-containing thermo plastic resin and other thermoplastic resin) containing an carboxy-containing thermoplastic resin (preferably a resin produced by heating a thermoplastic resin and a carboxyl-containing ethylenic unsaturated monomer in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator) to obtain the objective composition. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
