titleOfInvention Forming of footwear insole or the like
abstract PURPOSE: To form so as to integrally cover the front surface and side peripheral surface of a urethane form molding core body with vinyl chloride sheet by a method wherein the vinyl chloride sheet is cut out and placed on a foam molding tool so as to pressingly bring the vinyl chloride sheet into contact with the core body along its front surface and side peripheral surface by utilizing the heat of reaction and blowing pressure of expandable urethane stock liquid. n CONSTITUTION: Vinyl chloride sheet 2 of about 0.1W0.25mm thick is placed on a foam molding tool, which is heated up to 30W60°C. In addition, expandable polyurethane stock liquid, the amount of which is at least 3 times the amount just enough for filling the volume of the cavity of a mold to be formed at free expansion, is poured on the sheet 2. The heat of reaction and blowing pressure of the excess amount of poured semirigid expandable urethane resin liquid is utilized for pressingly bringing the vinyl chloride sheet into contact with the molding tool along its inner surface and at the same time the urethane resin liquid is expanded and hardened, resulting in easily manufacturing a product integrally molded together with a skin having a three-dimentionally curved surface. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
