titleOfInvention Unsaturated polyester resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: To provide the titled composition having remarkably improved miscibility of the components, capable of preventing the cure shrinkage when used in the production of FRP, and giving a molded article free from the lowering of the strength and the generation of cracks and warpage, by compounding a vinyl monomer, a thermoplastic resin and a specific stabilizer. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition can be produced by compounding (A) an unsaturated polyester with (B) a vinyl monomer copolymerizable with the component A, (C) a thermoplastic resin, and (D) a stabilizer containing a part having affinity to the component A and a part having affinity to the component B in the molecule. The component A is a highly reactive unsaturated polyester, and the component B is styrene, vinyltoluene, etc. The component D is a compound having a chain containing a bond having high polarity, e.g. ether bond, amide bond, etc., and a chain of a polymer of the same kind of monomer as the component B. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
