abstract PURPOSE: A thermoplastic resin composition excellent in modulus, internal loss and moldability and suitable for the production of acoustic diaphragms, compris ing a crystalline aliphatic polyolefin resin, a specified aliphatic polyolefin copoly mer, mica and, optionally, a blowing agent. n CONSTITUTION: A mica-filled thermoplastic resin composition which can give a foam of a specific gravity of 0.8W1.1 is obtained by mixing a crystalline aliphatic polyolefin resin (A) such as PP, PE nor a propylene/ethylene copolymer with 5W40wt% aliphatic polyolefin copolymer(B) such as an ethylene/alkyl (meth)acrylate copolymer of an alkyl (meth)acrylate content of 5W40% mica (C) of a weight-average aspect ratio ≥10, selected from among phlogopite, muscovite, synthetic fluorophlogopite, etc., and if necessary, surface-treated with 0.05W3wt% (based on mica) silane coupling agent and, optionally, a blowing agent (e.g., azodicarbonamide). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
