titleOfInvention Method of unreeling package of synthetic fiber-processed thread
abstract PURPOSE:To enable unreeling of thread prevented from break, by a method wherein, when thread is unreeled in a direction extending about parallel to the side surface of a package, a sufficient amount of a moisture content is given the package. CONSTITUTION:When thread is unreeled from a parallel package formed by reeling the thread around a core 1, since unreeling balloon is heretofore produced only from an outer peripheray 2 of the end surface of the package, the unreeled thread 4 is pulled off through a guide 5 as the thread is forced into friction with a side surface 3,and is entangled with the thread of the side surface 3, by which thread break is caused. When the thread is unreeled, by immersing the package directly in water or blowing water thereagainst, a moisture content is given at a water content being 20% or more of thread weight to carry out unreeling of the thread. In this case, since the thread contains a moisture content to increase in weight, unreel balloon of the thread 4 is immediately produced from the side surface 3. This prevents the unreeled thread from being entangled with the thread on the side surface and prevents break of the thread.
