abstract PURPOSE:To offer acrylic resin which does not generate shear heating and stress-whitening at the time of blanking processing, by so constituting the title sheet that it contains specific rubber content, is he biaxially oriented acrylic sheet and possesses a specific heat shrinkage factor. CONSTITUTION:As for rubber-contained acrylic resin, it contains 0.5-10wt% rubber content, is a biaxially oriented acrylic resin sheet whose thickness is 0.05-1.5mm, possesses a heat shrinkage factor falling within a range of 5-70%, a ratio between the miximum and minimum values of which, moreover, in an arbitrary direction is within a range of 1-1.4. When a rubber content exceeds 10wt% stress whitening is generated at the time of blanking processing, and when the rubber content is less than 0.5wt%, a crack is generated at the time of blanking of a part where radius R is small. A polymerizing method for manufacturing of the rubber-contained acrylic resin is not alway limited especially, for example, emulsion polymerization, suspension polymerization and mass polymerization can be adopted.
