titleOfInvention Oxygen concentrating apparatus
abstract PURPOSE: To supply O 2 concentrated air with small noise without forcing no pain to patient even if an O 2 concentrating apparatus is driven in the neighborhood of the patient by installing a section having sound silencing function to an exhaust port of excess O 2 concentrated air of a flow rate adjusting means of an O 2 concentrating apparatus. n CONSTITUTION: O 2 concentrated air of an O 2 concentrating apparatus for obtd. O 2 concentrated air from atmospheric air using a pump means is introduced from an O 2 concentrated air flow inlet 4 of a main body 1 of flow meter comprising a flow indicator and a flow rate adjusting device, into a tapered tube 2, and the flow rate is adjusted by moving a knob 9 for adjusting the flow rate on an operation panel board 8 and a therewith interlocking needle 5 so as to let a float 3 to indicate a specified flow rate, and excess O 2 concentrated air i discharged from an exit port 6. To prevent generation of noise due to discharge of air, a conducting pipe means 7 such as sound silencing tube, etc., having ≥5cm length and provided if necessary with bent parts to the exit port 6 as sound silencing function section; or the exit port 6 is connected to a sound silencing box, or a sound proof material comprising porous or fibrous aggregate such as spongy material is attached to the exit port 6 or an end of the sound silencing tube 7 as a cover of the tube. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
