titleOfInvention Production of combined filament polyester yarn
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled combined filament yarn having different thermal shrinkages and resistant to the stress deformation, by cooling plural polyester multifilament yarns obtained by melt-spinning, heat-treating under different conditions, combining with each other and winding at a high speed. n CONSTITUTION: The polyester yarn 3 produced by melt-spinning process is quenched with a quenching air cylinder 4, divided by the collection guide 5, and heat-treated with the heaters 6, 7 having different temperatures. The heat- treated yarns are passed through the oiling apparatus 8, combined with each other, intertwined with the intertwining nozzle 9 and wound via a take-up roller 10 with a winder 11 at a winding speed of ≥3,500m/min. The difference in the boiling water shrinkages of the yarns before combining is preferably ≥10%. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
