titleOfInvention | Gas discharging fluorescent display panel |
abstract | PURPOSE:To realize required electron control with low voltage by forming a negative pole conductive layer for discharge and positive pole conductive layer in pairs on a substrate facing a transparent substrate and then providing an opaque layer which screens the negative pole conductive layer against a display part. CONSTITUTION:Together with forming a negative pole conductive part 2 for gas discharge, positive pole conductive part 3, wiring layer 4, and the like on a substrate 1, the negative pole conductive part 2 is located so as not to overlap a display pattern segment 8 facing it and the positive pole conductive part 3 is located just under a display pattern 8. A ground segment 8, a wiring layer 9, and so on are formed on a transparent substrate 7, applying a phosphor layer 11 on the segment 8, and then removing the segment part 8 to form an opaque insulating layer 12, sealing both substrates faced to each other to form a gas discharge fluorescent display panel. Since electron control requiring to impact a phosphor can be realized with low voltage, a direct drive by LSI and the like can be performed. |
