abstract | PURPOSE:A photosensitizer having a having sensitivity to light of a long wavelength, excellent storage stability and usefulness in a photopolymer composition, prepared by combining a specified nucleus-halogen substituted acridone photosensitizer with, optionally, other photosensitizers. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitizer is obtained by combining a nucleus-halogen substituted acridone photosensitizer of the formula (wherein X1-2 are each a halogen, R is 1-10 C alkyl, alkenyl, 6-10 C aryl or aralkyl), e.g., 2-chloro-N- methyl-acridone, with, optionally, well-known photosensitizers [e.g., bis (dialkylamiono)benzophenone]. A thin-film photosensitive coating composition is obtained by mixing 100pts.wt. at least one member selected from among a monomer containing a radical-polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated bond and prepolymers and polymers thereof [e.g., (meth)acryloyl group-containing compound of a b.p. >=100 deg.C] and, optionally, 1-500pts.wt. organic polymer compound (e.g., acrylate ester) with 0.5-50pts.wt. said photosensitizer, etc. |
