titleOfInvention Rolling mill
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a rolling mill which can adjust optionally a crown and can control a shape with a high accuracy by supplying a pressurized liquid to a groove, widening an air-gap part of a tapered sleeve (TS) fitting part, moving the TS smoothly in the roll axis direction, and drawing out and pushing in the TS by a cylinder device. CONSTITUTION:When a pressurized oil is supplied to an oil chamber 21, and a piston 10 moves in the direction separated from a roller shell (RS)2, a thrust bearing 12, a piston 11, a cylindrical part 17, a connector 14, and a cylindrical part 15 also move in the same direction as said direction. Accordingly, a TS4 moves in the direction drawn out of an air-gap 3 part of the RS2, and the outside periphery of the shell end part of the RS2 is reduced and becomes a tapering tapered shape. Also, when the pressurized oil is supplied to an oil chamber 24, a result opposite to the foregoing is obtained, and a crown of the roll can be adjusted optionally. In this regard, when moving the TS4, for instance, the pressurized oil is supplied to an oil groove 25 of the outside periphery of the TS4 in order to execute smoothly a movement of the TS4.
