PURPOSE:To make mass production of growth factor I-like insulin possible, by cultivating a plasmid containing a specific gene and a promoter gene to control the development of the specific gene. CONSTITUTION:An organism having in itself a plasmid containing a synthetic growth factor like insulin (IGF-I for short) gene to code development of IGF-I consisting of 70 amino acids in the sequence shown by the figure and a promoter gene that exist in the upper stream of the IGF-I gene, adjoins it, has no structural gene and to control development of IGF-I gene is cultivated and IGF-I is recovered from the culture solution. |
