titleOfInvention | Method for removing dissolved oxygen |
abstract | PURPOSE: To remove easily dissolved oxygen in a liq. to be treated by bringing the liq. to be treated contg. dissolved oxygen into contact with a palladium catalyst deposited on a high molecular compd. contg. a basic nitrogen atomic group in the structure in the presence of formic acid. n CONSTITUTION: The liq. to be treated contg. the dissolved oxygen is brought into contact in the presence of the formic acid with the palladium catalyst deposited on the high molecular compd. contg. the basic nitrogen atomic group (e.g., an atomic group contg. a pyrindine skeleton). About 1W10mol formic acid, based on 1mol dissolved oxygen in the liq. to be treated, is sufficiently added. Besides, unreacted formic acid can be removed, as necessary, by using an ion-exchange resin. Consequently, the dissolved oxygen in the liq. to be treated can be easily removed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
