NEW MATERIAL:A new type of microorganism in Corynebacterium or Brevibacterium that is capable of converting S-isomer into R-isomer of a p-substituted α-phenoxypropionic acid of the formula (X is H, alkyl, phenyl, pyridyl, benzoxazolyl, benzthiazolyl, quinoxalinyl; R is H, cation) or its derivatives. n USE: A microorganism that can convert S-isomer into R-isomer of p-substituted α-phenozypropionic acid and its derivatives. n PREPARATION: It has been separated from the soil in Shiga Prefecture near Kyoto in Japan. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
