abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the titled copolymer of good printability and dyeability in high conversion, by copolymerization between ethylene, acrylic ester etc., in the presence of a Lewis acid, using as a catalyst a combination of vanadium- contg. component and reaction product from organoaluminum compound and specific modifier. n CONSTITUTION: The objective copolymer can be obtained by copolymerization, in the presence of a Lewis acid, between ethylene, an acrylic ester (e.g., ethyl acrylate) and/or α-substituted acrylic ester using as a catalyst, a combination of (A) a vanadium-contg. component (e.g., vanadium chloride) and (B) a reaction product from (i)organoaluminum compound as an aluminum-contg. component and (ii) at least one sort of modifier selected from alcohols, amines, carboxylic acids, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
