PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent flame retardance, appearance and mechanical properties and improved retention stability during molding, by incorporating a molecule type flame retarder, a (thio)phsophite compd. and a phosphate compd. in a thermoplastic polyester. CONSTITUTION:3-40pts.wt. high-molecular flame retarder contg. a tetrabromobisphenol skeleton, 0.01-5pts.wt. at least one member selected from among phosphite and thiophosphite compds. of formulas I, II, III and 0.01-5pts. wt. phosphate compd. of formula IV are incorporated in 100pts.wt. thermoplastic polyester. In the formulas, R<1>-R<4>, R<7> are each a 6-20C hydrocarbon group; R<5>, R<6> are each H, a 1-6C alkyl; n is 2-4; A is a 1-6C alkylene, ether, carbonyl, thioester, sulfone group; R<8>-R<10> are each alkyl, haloalkyl, aryl, haloaryl. |
