titleOfInvention Aqueous dispersion and its production
abstract PURPOSE: An aqueous dispersion that is obtained by using a thermoplastic resin, another thermoplastic polymer containing carboxylate salt groups, and water, thus enabling the formation of coating films of high water resistance, oil resistance, high adhesion to hydrophobic materials, further enabling the water content of the dispersion to be freely adjustable by adding water. n CONSTITUTION: The objective dispersion contains (A) a thermoplastic resin, (B) a thermoplastic polymer containing 0.1W5 millimoles of carboxyl groups per gram of the polymer and (C) water where water content is 3W25wt%, its appearance is solid, its resistivity is less than 10 6 Ω/cm and the solid is uniformly dispersed in water by hydrolysis. The thermoplastic resin is an olefinic resin. The component B is composed of the same olefin as component A and another monomer of unsaturated carboxylic acid which may be partially saponified or its anhydride or ester. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
