titleOfInvention Resin composition for foaming, and cured resin foam prepared therefrom
abstract PURPOSE: To provide an emulsion composition composed of a curable polyester resin composition as the continuous phase and an aqueous solution of a specific water-soluble inorganic compound as the dispersed particle phase, and capable of giving a closed-cell hardened resin foam having uniform cell size and uniform cell distribution. n CONSTITUTION: (A) A composition composed of (i) an unsaturated polyester prepolymer having an acid value of 5W35, a hydroxyl value of 10W45, and a number-average molecular weight of 1,500W3,500 and (ii) an oleophilic liquid ethylenic unsaturated monomer is compound with (B) 2W40(wt)% inorganic powder consisting of a (bi)carbonate, based on the component A, (C) an aqueous solution of a water-soluble inorganic compound containing a neutralizable acid group and capable of forming a colloidal (hydr)oxide and gelatinizing by itself or an acidic aqueous sol liquid of the compound at a weight ratio (A/C) of 1:(0.7W0.1), and (D) a water-insoluble surfactant capable of forming a W/O-type emulsion, preferably a Ca alkylbenzenesulfonate, in an amount of 0.3W6% of the component A. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
